Access Ramps

While building a ramp, it has to be kept in the head that the steepness is the most important thing that is involved in this process. Ramps that are permanent and is used for the wheel chairs should always be using the lowest slope that is possible. If the steep is very high it will be very difficult for the wheelchair user to climb it, and there are very high chances of the person to tip backwards, or even slip downwards which might prove to be extremely dangerous. The maximum incline that is acceptable for it should always be maintained to 1:12.
